This photo was taken in my friend's neighborhood. I was driving to her house after work because the roads were too unsafe to drive home. This view was so gorgeous it drove me to park my car and take a photo of it. It was so quiet outside and so peaceful and cozy. There were a lot of streetlights, road signs, and houses surrounding me so I had to get the perfect angle to cut out any sort of manmade items.
I was on an evening walk with my dog and I came across this beautiful sight in the sky. The sunset sky always amazes me after a storm, which was true in this case. It gives a euphoric sense of freedom and calmness. There were a lot of people and manmade structures around so I had to take the picture at an angle more pointed up at the sky, while trying to get some foreground into the photo.
I was on a trip with my close friends on the west coast of Florida. I adore the west coast of Florida because of the sunset view over the water. It is one of my all-time favorite sights and scenes to photograph. I tried several different angles, some closer to the water and some upside down. This was my favorite because it was just a simple shot of a beautiful view.
I was on a trip with my family to Arizona and we visited the Grand Canyon. It was my first experience and I was in complete and utter shock at how large and enchanting it was to see it in person. It felt like an out-of-body experience standing over the edge of one of the largest canyons on the planet. I had to capture it so I studied the best angle and I positioned my camera at a point where I could capture a foreground, middleground, and background.
I visited the Keweenaw Peninsula in Northern Michigan with a friend and went hiking on a trail. It was full of gorgeous scenic landscapes but I came across this one cliff where flowers were hanging off the edge and I had to capture it. In the background a young river was flowing down and it was a beautiful natural set up. One problem I had was on top of the cliffs in the background were people hiking on a different trail, so I had to angle the picture downwards and focus more on the flowers to crop out the hikers.
